RIser pads are for people with wide trucks and big wheels, to prevent them from getting 'wheel bite' ,this happens because the axle is closer to deck due to the size of the wheels.
Also there's a urban myth than it stops you getting pressure cracks in your board.
Either way if your going to buy riser pads you might aswell get indy's because there rad!
